State-of-the-Art Production Facility Provides Clients with Consistency, Quality and Efficiency

Trailblazer Foods’ state-of-the-art facility boasts a production capacity of more than 115 tons per day. The facility, which is geared for high-volume production of sweetener, fruit-based products, is available for co-packing and private label services. We work with an endless array of recipes and are always ready to add new ones. For co-pack production, we have low batch minimums at 10,000 lbs. (5,000 lbs. per batch).

Products we currently produce include the following:

  • Preserves and jellies

  • Sweetened coconut

  • Italian syrups
  • Pie filling and glazes
  • Savory sauces and marinades

Our daily production totals more than 65 tons of preserves and jellies, more than 75 tons of syrups, approximately 15 tons of sweetened or unsweetened coconut, more than 8 tons of pie filling, and more than 25 tons of sauces and marinades.

Advanced technology – including a flexible automated recipe management system and a packaging line that is integrated with the processing operations – combined with superior scheduling and inventory management systems and rigorous quality control measures, ensures efficient, consistent, cost-effective production.

Our equipment includes the following:

Cook Deck

  • 2 500-gallon vacuum pans
  • 3 500-gallon premix kettles
  • 2 750-gallon standardization kettles

Heat Treatment/Cooling Sections

  • Heat tunnel
  • 20- to 40-minute cooling (water)
  • 8- to 10-minute hot hold (convection air)

Coding Station

  • Inkjet coder
  • Open, closed or Julian coding capabilities

Case Erecting/Packaging/Palletizing Stations

  • 100% automated

Filling/Capping Stations

  • 33 to 80 mm “lug” caps
  • 2 to 128 oz. (or larger) filling capacity
  • 22 to 110 mm continuous thread caps

Labeling Station(s)

  • Pressure-sensitive capabilities

Case Coding

  • Inkjet printing capable

Laser jet print and label system (bar code capable)
